A Moveable Feast

The Invalides, an iconic place

Dear readers,

You certainly know this classic by the great Ernest Hemingway. If I love Paris that much, it is among others for its crazy endless nights. I am going to tell you about one of my favorite places in Paris, which is the Invalides.

This place full of history is simply perfect. When the warm summer nights come by, young people meet on the grass and talk for hours, sipping rosé wine. As for me, I love to meet with friends for dinner at the Café de l’Esplanade or to go down the Seine banks and enjoy the views from the anchored boats. My young age was filled with these nights at the Invalides. I have met dozens of beautiful and interesting people. But the inauguration of the Gloster led to a change in my habits…

The Gloster, the iconic place of tomorrow

Now, this place forms part of my favorite addresses. I love to spend the beginning of the night at the Invalides, before going to the Gloster to enjoy a new drink. Indeed, the refinement of their cocktails is certain. The bartender knows his trade, he is passionate about it. He knows how to surpass the customer’s expectations. A few clues about one’s favorite flavors are enough for the bartender to create a drink that will delight each customer. It is the only place in Paris where I feel that privileged…

I love to go to the Gloster to end my evenings with a note of friendliness. It is not the first time that I meet people that will certainly become my friends. Everybody is open, be it the staff crew or the clients. The Gloster contributes to this friendly atmosphere by organizing events that everybody can enjoy.

See you soon!
